London: Places to visit and things to do: FTM

SO THE HOLIDAYS ARE APPROACHING!

From my blog stats most of my readers are from London, so hi to all of you guys!!! This is a post about FTM in London. I'm also going to do another post exactly like this music related. There are simple things you can do to get away instead of dragging yourselves to museums and London's tourist attractions you've probably seen a million times because for me, Big Ben is a clock. Take me to Big Ben and I still see a Big clock and couldn't care less about it. If your reading this i'm assuming you like fashion someway or another so here are some thing to do, if you do like fashion! Leggo!

1. The Fashion and Textile museum.

The word "museum" made you run didn't it. Relax. That's what I thought at first... UNTIL I VISITED IT!!! This museum is a place to learn about not only historical fashion but modern too. (By the way, the post on historical fashion is the most viewed post on this blog with over 700 views, so those of you who read that, it'd be worth going!) They have many different exhibitions and workshops for young people, I've attended loads of them and to be honest, it looks good in your portfolio.

Websites description:
The Fashion and Textile Museum is a cutting edge centre for contemporary fashion, textiles and jewellery in London. Founded by iconic British designer Zandra Rhodes, the centre showcases a programme of changing exhibitions exploring elements of fashion, textile and jewellery as well as the Academy which runs courses for creative students and businesses.
Situated in the heart of fashionable Bermondsey Village, in a fantastic building designed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, the FTM aims not just to display and collect items relating to fashion, jewellery and textile design, but to offer inspiration to a new generation of creatives. Now redeveloped and operated by Newham College, the museum is a hub of learning, ideas and networking for the fashion and jewellery industry.
