Historical Fashion: Taking it back to the 1960's

Hey guys so today i'm going to be talking about fashion in the 60's which is actually my favourite time in historical fashion.

In the 60's there were a lot of fashion trends, such as culottes, go go boots and box shaped PVC dresses. PVC dresses were very popular. During this time Mary Quant invented the mini skirt. Jackie Kennedy also made the pillbox hat. During the 60's these two garments were incredibly popular. False eyelashes were also introduced in the 60's. People were dressed in psychedic prints, highlighter colours and mismatched patterns.

There was also a hippy trend that was very popular. That included bell bottom jeans, tye dye and batik fabrics. In 1966 the Nehru jacket arrived on the fashion scene and was worn by both genders. Footwear for women included low heeled sandals and kitten heeled pumps, as well as the trendy white go, go boots. Shoes, boots and handbags were often made out of patent leather or vinyl.
